Condredge Holloway is a former Canadian football player who played as a quarterback. He was born on January 25, 1954, in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. Holloway had a successful career in both college and professional football.
He played college football at the University of Tennessee, where he was a standout quarterback for the Volunteers from 1972 to 1974. Holloway was known for his dual-threat abilities, being an effective passer and runner.
After college, Holloway was selected by the New England Patriots in the 12th round of the 1975 NFL Draft. However, he opted to play in the Canadian Football League (CFL) instead. He signed with the Ottawa Rough Riders, where he had a successful career from 1975 to 1980.
Holloway was a two-time CFL East Division All-Star and led the Rough Riders to the Grey Cup Championship in 1976. He was known for his strong arm and elusive running abilities, making him a dangerous threat on the field.
After his playing career, Holloway went on to work as a coach and administrator in both college and professional football. He was inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 for his contributions to the sport. Holloway is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in CFL history.
